These are usually messages sent en masse for commercial purposes and that can harm the recipient in one or many ways.

It is a word that comes from the Anglo-Saxon term “Spam” and was born in the Second World War, soldiers who were at war received the shipment of tin cans from their relatives. Spam was a meat that came in a can and was very common in the United States. On the other hand, the act of sending these messages is called spamming.

There are many ways of doing spamming, however the most used is the one that is done through messages to emails or accounts on social networks. Pop-ups are also common, which often even come with viruses.

On the Internet, comments are subject to moderation, which is carried out by the different administrators of each page, who have the right to delete spam or disrespectful messages.

A comment based on a text, on the other hand, is a work or analysis developed based on a specific text, which when presented usually adopts the typical structure of an opinion article. It is generally used to estimate a student’s reading ability and knowledge about a certain subject. The text comment is designed with reading as the basis and in order to arrive at a synthesis and assessment that is divided into multiple segments: a topic (where the central idea of the text is reflected), an organizational scheme (which divides the sections topics of the text), a summary (about what is dealt with in the text), a linguistic characterization(The sentence modality is identified) and a personal assessment (the subjective opinion of the person making the comment).

The philosophy clarifies that commenting on a text does not mean paraphrasing it (that is, it does not consist of using other words to repeat exactly what the original text says). Nor is a comment limited to explaining the meaning of the ideas in the writing, since it is part of the analysis of the text and not the comment itself.
